We're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance function in a fast-paced, multi-plant manufacturing setting.
The Role
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant owns core areas of the monthly close and plays a central role in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory integrity, and financial reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants exposure to the full cost cycle of a contract manufacturer — from raw materials and components through work-in-process to finished goods and customer profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own assigned areas of the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, meeting a tight close calendar
- Analyze plant and customer/contract profitability and partner with operations on margin drivers
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong documentation and internal controls
- Reconcile and value inventory (raw materials, components, WIP, finished goods); investigate cycle-count and physical-inventory discrepancies and support reserve analysis
- Support the annual budget, forecasting, and standard cost setting process
- Assist with external audit, tax, and PE reporting deliverables, preparing schedules and responding to requests
- Assist with standard cost accounting: maintain BOMs and routings, execute standard cost rolls, and analyze purchase price, material usage, labor, and overhead variances
- Drive process improvements and help optimize use of the ERP system
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience,
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and
- Strong ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
- - Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working across finance and operations
- CPA (or actively pursuing)
- Experience with manufacturing cost accounting
- Understanding standard costing in an inventory-intensive environment
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharma, or another regulated manufacturing industry
- Experience with multi-plant or multi-entity operations
- Exposure to a private equity–backed or high-growth environment
- Primarily office-based work environment during regular business hours.
- Frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (files, binders, or office materials).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed throughout the workday
