Manufacturing Planning Expeditor

Responsibilities:

  • Synchronize and facilitate the flow of work and materials between and within a company's departments.
  • Coordinate between supply chain, production, and quality departments to remove obstacles to meeting deadlines.
  • Problem solving to reduce the impact of late deliveries or production delays to a customer’s requested ship date.
  • Work closely with production staff in the development of the weekly and monthly production schedule.
  • Analyze and identify risks built into the Master Production Plan considering manufacturing lead times and capacity constraints.
  • Support company-wide goals for on-time delivery to customer requested dates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or other related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing of consumer-packaged goods  
  • Has experience in working collaboratively across multi-functional teams
  • Can analyze complex data sets and provide clear recommendations and action planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel.
  • Familiarity with production planning software
  • Organized, efficient and detail oriented.
  • A bias towards action and a strong sense of urgency
